美國大選希拉里敗選演講稿全文（中英文對照）

成王敗寇這個詞，對失敗者歷來都是最好的說辭。2016年美國大選這部美國大片終於“The end！”，特朗普當選美國總統，希拉里一生參加了3次總統競選，在衆多媒體的熱捧中信心滿滿，最終還是沒能如願，幾家歡樂幾家愁，人這輩子誰又能說得清。

2016年11月9日希拉里發表敗選演講，希拉里祝賀了特朗普，希望特朗普成爲一個好總統。她說大選失敗的確是非常痛苦的結果，但她仍然表示生活仍然需要繼續。

一向不怎麼喜歡希拉里，對特朗普也沒什麼好感。我更多關注的是他們演講的風格和形式，對希拉里敗選演講中顯示出來的風度，倒是挺欣賞。下面把希拉里敗選演講的中英講稿全文摘抄給大家：

Last night， I congratulated Donald Trump and offered to work with him on behalf of our country. I hope that he will be a successful president for all Americans. This is not the outcome we wanted or we worked so hard for and I’m sorry that we did not win this election for the values we share and the vision we hold for our country.

我已於昨晚祝賀唐納德·特朗普成功當選總統，並且主動提出與他共事，一同爲這個國家服務。我希望他能成爲一名成功的總統，一位服務所有美國人的總統。我們爲這次競選付出了艱苦卓絕的努力，卻沒有得到我們想要的結果。對此，我感到非常抱歉。我們沒有憑藉所認可的價值觀和爲美國設計的願景而贏得這次選舉。

But I feel pride and gratitude for this wonderful campaign that we built together， this vast， perse， creative， unruly， energized campaign。 You represent the best of America and being your candidate has been one of the greatest honors of my life.

I know how disappointed you feel because I feel it too， and so do tens of millions of Americans who invested their hopes and dreams in this effort。 This is painful and it will be for a long time， but I want you to remember this。 Our campaign was never about one person or even one election， it was about the country we love and about building an America that’s hopeful， inclusive and big-hearted.

我知道你們有多沮喪，因爲我也切身體會。想必，寄希望和夢想於這次競選的千百萬美國人也和我們一樣傷感。落選是痛苦的，並且痛苦將持續很長一段時間。但是，我希望你們記住：我們競選從來不是爲了某一個人或者某一次選舉，而是爲了這個我們所熱愛的國家，是爲了建成一個充滿希望、充滿善意、兼容幷包的國家。

We have seen that our nation is more deeply pided than we thought。 But I still believe in America and I always will。 And if you do， then we must accept this result and then look to the future。 Donald Trump is going to be our president。 We owe him an open mind and the chance to lead.

Our constitutional democracy enshrines the peaceful transfer of power and we don’t just respect that， we cherish it。 It also enshrines other things; the rule of law， the principle that we are all equal in rights and dignity， freedom of worship and expression。 We respect and cherish these values too and we must defend them.

我們的憲政民主制度要求：權力交接必須和平進行。我們尊重並且珍視這樣的規定。此外，該制度還規定了法治，規定了人人享有平等權利和尊嚴的原則，規定了宗教自由和表達自由。我們也同樣尊重並珍視這些價值觀，而且我們必須要捍衛它們。

Now — and let me add， our constitutional democracy demands our participation， not just every four years but all the time。 So let’s do all we can to keep advancing the causes and values we all hold dear; making our economy work for everyone not just those at the top， protecting our country and protecting our planet and breaking down all the barriers that hold any American back from achieving their dreams.

CLINTON： We’ve spent a year and a half bringing together millions of people from every corner of our country to say with one voice that we believe that the American dream is big enough for everyone — for people of all races and religions， for men and women， for immigrants， for LGBT people， and people with disabilities。 For everyone.

(APPLAUSE)

And to Bill and Chelsea， Mark， Charlotte， Aidan， our brothers and our entire family， my love for you means more than I can ever express。 You crisscrossed this country on our behalf and lifted me up when I needed it most — even four-month-old Aidan who traveled with his mom.

I will always be grateful to the creative， talented， dedicated men and women at our headquarters in Brooklyn and across our country.
